Making new recycled CO/PES fibers with the PurFi technology and test what the recycled blend can be.
What was achieved and what that learned
We were able to make a 100% recycled Weft (with 50% Co PCW + 50% PES PCW) + Warp 100% recycled PES (from PET bottles from PCW).
We did several tests to see what the possible combinations were
-*Starting with the weft 30% CO/PES
->going up from 50% -> 100% CO/PES ( Blend 50% Co + 50% PES from PET bottles )
*Warp was a Concordia warp of 100% Recycled PES ( from PET bottles )
Future visions
Look into the market if we can work together with brands who believes in Recycling & Sustainability & Circular Workwear.
