Circular textiles awareness activity – Portugal (29 May 2026)
To promote textile circularity literacy among students, linking clothing choices with sustainability, social responsibility, biomaterials, and end-of-life options.
How has the activity been organized:
CITEVE organized an interactive educational activity combining short explanations, questions and practical examples on the textile life cycle and the 3 Rs.
What was achieved and what that learned
The school setting supported discussion and reflection.
Students related the topics to their own clothing, and the activity highlighted the importance of clear materials for teachers and facilitators.
Future visions
The approach can be integrated into future school outreach activities, supported by printable materials, game cards and simple demonstrators.
