Children’s Day 2026 (Portugal)
To raise awareness among children and families about textile circularity, responsible consumption, and practical ways to extend the life of clothing.
How has the activity been organized:
CITEVE participated with an informal public outreach activity using interactive questions, textile examples and simple messages on reduce, reuse, and recycle.
What was achieved and what that learned
The public event enabled quick, accessible engagement with families.
The 3 Rs proved to be an effective entry point for conversations about clothing and sustainability.
Future visions
The model can be replicated in municipal events, using a lightweight kit with game cards, demonstrators, and clear take-home messages.
