tExtended held on 13th March its second Community webinar, organized in relation to our Community of Practitioners, our community of stakeholders that fosters interaction and facilitate knowledge-sharing outside of the project. Following an introduction on the project prepared by our project coordinator, Dr. Pirjo Heikkilä from VTT Research Institutes of Finland, the webinar has seen three presentations from tExtended partners. To open it, Nacho Montesinos Beltran from AIMPLAS has introduced the role AIMPLAS has in the project, and how the tExtended solutions will impact their future work. Following this first speech, Edwin Maes from Centexbel has discussed the report about redesigning value chains, developed within tExtended and led by himself. Jean-Luc Derycke has closed the group of project presentations, talking about Utexbel has been working on circular textiles and developed their Dr Green fabrics.
The last presentation of the day has been brought by Emma Enebog from RISE, who introduced another EU-funded project, CISUTAC, their work and results obtained, and the opening to future scenarios.
To wrap-up the session, the audience engaged in a Q&A session and open discussion with the presenters, focusing on solutions in the sustainable textile environment.
